aarrrrgggghhh

i need a break!!
i really do.....the education system in our country does nothing but suck life out of the students in it!
seriously the line in the latest hit song from 3 idiots "bachpan toh gaya javani bhi gai...ek pal toh ab hame jeene do!!"... this is something that we all feel...every day!
though i haven't seen the movie yet..I've heard a lot from all the people who've seen it..

In India when does one be treated like an adult??........and especially for girls i know a lot of girls will agree with me here..that in India girls are never treated like adults...they are never given the right to have an opinion...because everything we say is either stupid or outrageous!...we are supposed to understand and pamper every body's ego...girls are not supposed to have an ego of their own...because if you do then it is definitely going to be crushed beyond limits until you sink into a shell and never come out!..and the day that happens you are a complete "bharatiya naari!" and that's how everybody expects you to be...or that is what they will make out of you one day..

Today the we are supposed to be modern and open minded...well that is actually far from the reality..We like to pretend that we are very open minded and we give a lot of freedom to our kids but in reality we are the same primitive paranoid parents who think that letting their kids have a life is against our culture!...
here are some very ironical situations that we get to see around us..
"going out with a friend you've known all your life--no no its against our culture!"..but getting married to a perfect stranger..ohh yes thats how its meant to be!
" going for a trip outside the city with friends--- oh no! no way how can you even ask for something like that!!! :O " "but going for a spiritual camp again with perfect strangers ohh yes..that will do you good!"
I mean i dont understand what sense does all this make!

  1. Its very difficult to comprehend our parents ideology.... I guess to do that we have to go through that stage...All I can say is sometimes we are so lost into trans that v don't realize our actions. May be our "folks" are only who can help us out the...Things have a reason..may be our "folks" also have which mite not be vital enough for us to know at that instance...have a good trip take care..

  2. haha..i think I had talk about this with you..In my opinion, it depends on what kind of person you are.If you are a kind of person who doesn't take things lying down, makes things happen and get your way done,I don't think even your parents would be able to come in your way. It's very important that you set an example, parents try and overrule our decisions because they don't trust our decision making capability, if you show them that you are sensible and mature enough, they would definitely consider whatever decisions you make in the future. Good luck..and make sure you make it to the next year's party :)

  3. hmm well two very distinct opinions there!
I agree with both of you'll to some extent
@ akshay i know that our "folks" may have a better outlook towards things considering that they have more experience but still i think somewhere they have to understand that their children do eventually grow up and are capable of making decisions in life!
@ nikhil..i wish i was as daring as u are to do the things that you've done to "set an example" ;) ...and i was not talking only about the party issiue!..i was talking generally :P

true that SOMETIMES its about ego, but there is a fine line between ego and misinterpretation.
