Its important how you decide to lead your life...are you the kind of person who depends on others for guidance or are you the one who likes to make your own mistakes and finds your way, Either way you are bound to find a lot of people who will be out there with their bags of advice to give you.. Its important to be patient and listen to those who provide u the same but even more important to know whose advice to buy! Ultimately it is your life that you alone are responsible for! No one will have any special preference for a misguided person, so its your responsibility to know what is good for you!
There are two types of people who would be good at giving advice, one who has had a good life so far and has known what it is like to be successful after working for it this guy will know what to do!, and secondly the kind of person who has had no luck with success and knows what not to do!...And usually people tend to listen to the first kind, but i feel that the second kind also provides important information, he will be the person who will keep you grounded! Here i am not saying that you worry and waste time but its good to know both ways, it reduces your chances of going wrong.
The first set of people who everyone gets advice from is your folks, and this is the most genuine form of advice you will ever get, But from your folks the advice is usually a little too assertive, so much so that you do not want to listen! and this form of advice is mixed with extra concern and a sense of responsibility they feel towards you, because they do not want you to go wrong at all! and this usually is not the best way to get good advice.Hence advice from a third party who has a no gain no loss situation may prove to be more useful!
One who knows this secret will always know who to talk to when in trouble and also the person who will soon not need advice from anybody! :)
To end this i leave you with one of my favorite lines from "The Sunscreen song" by Baz Luhrmann he sums it up beautifully!
"Be careful whose advice you buy, but, be patient with those who
Supply it. Advice is a form of nostalgia, dispensing it is a way of
Fishing the past from the disposal, wiping it off, painting over the
Ugly parts and recycling it for more than
It's worth."
-Baz Luhrmann
Nice blog, but a bit too short and you didn't write why you wrote the blog in the first place. You could also organize your thoughts and points in a systematic manner. The choice of topic and content was really good. Keep blogging! :)
